Trainee Intake Tests

The trainee intake tests consist of a 2 day event where we get to assess your skiing or boarding ability, and you get to meet us to see what we do live on the hill. The intake test weekend is scheduled for the 24th and 25th August 2019.

An administration fee of $25 is payable by cash or card on the morning.

You must provide your own lift tickets and gear for the day.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Saturday:

• 7:30 AM – Meet outside P1. This is the Ski Patrol room which is located at the eastern end of the building which houses the Kosciusko Express chairs overnight. The door is next to Tower 2 of the Snowgums Chairlift.
• NB: Please purchase your lift pass/es ahead of time, if possible.
• Introductions and day overview
• Ski warm up
• Skill tests
• Lunch
• Initial Assessment results
• Overview of the patrol
• ***If you successfully pass the Saturday session, you will be invited to attend Sunday for the next part of the intake process***

Sunday:

• Buddy up with a patroller for the morning
• Interview
• Assessment & Delivery of outcome
